University Ridge Golf Course is a public 18-hole course and home to University of Wisconsin golf teams. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., opened in 1991. Features rolling hills, valleys, and Madison views. Front nine through prairie and wetlands; back nine through dense woodland. Five tee sets from 5,005 to 7,289 yards for all levels. Includes 33-acre practice facility with short game area, bunkers, hitting areas, bentgrass tees and greens. Hosts tournaments like American Family Championship, NCAA golf, Wisconsin State Open, WIAA State Tournament, Western Junior Open.
