About this course:
Tyrrells Wood Golf Course is a challenging 18-hole course designed by five-time Open Champion James Braid. Set in a chalk downland-like landscape with small, fast, undulating greens, it demands precision and strategic play. From the club's elevated grounds among mature trees, the course keeps you sharp with subtle elevation changes and gently rolling fairways, making each round varied and demanding. Established officially in 1924, with refinements by Harry Colt, the course retains much of Braid and Colt's vision, offering a tranquil atmosphere, character, and views over Surrey.
