About this course:
Tullamore Golf Club is a championship parkland course at Brookfield, just outside Tullamore. Designed by James Braid and first opened in 1926, it was upgraded in 1996 by Patrick Merrigan and is known for an enjoyable challenge on an easy-walking layout. Mature oak, beech and chestnut trees frame the course, while the redesign added new lakes, greens, tees and bunkers that enhance the test for golfers.
Played as an 18-hole layout measuring 6,472 yards from the back markers, the course features three par 5s, ten par 4s and five par 3s. Water comes into play on seven holes, rewarding accuracy and smart course management. The 14th is the toughest hole, while the 16th and 18th provide memorable finishing holes. Tullamore Golf Club has also hosted major events, including the Golf Ireland Men’s Close Championship in 2021 and the Irish Ladies Senior Open.
