About this course:
TPC Sawgrass: Stadium is the home of THE PLAYERS Championship and a classic Pete Dye Stadium Course, designed around a balanced test that does not favor one style of play. Built for the permanent hosting of the event, it combines hole lengths across par 3s, par 4s and par 5s, with lakes and strategically placed viewing mounds adding to its tournament feel. Set among North Florida wetlands and heavy woodland, the course delivers a distinctive PGA TOUR atmosphere.
Its most famous moment is the par-3 17th, where the iconic island green has become one of golf’s most recognizable challenges. First showcased at the inaugural PLAYERS Championship in 1982, the Stadium Course has since earned its place in modern golf history as a demanding and memorable venue.
