Thunder Hills Country Club is a private 18-hole golf course in the scenic Mississippi Valley. Designed by Gordon Cunningham, it smartly uses elevation changes for a thoughtful layout, offering a challenging round for golfers of all levels. The course is a par 71 with a strong mix of par 3, 4, and 5 holes. Besides the championship course, Thunder Hills features modern practice facilities with bent grass chipping and putting greens and practice bunkers with varied lies and greenside situations. Established in the early 1970s, the club has built a close-knit community. The annual Couples Classic, held since 1987, attracts many golfers.
