About this course:
Thorpe Hall Golf Course is an 18-hole parkland course in Essex with a traditional character and natural elevation changes. The greens are naturally undulating, requiring precise putting, while many holes demand strategic choices. With a par of 72 and a length of 6210 yards from white tees, the course offers various skill levels a varied round featuring long doglegs, bunkers, and challenging terrain. The club dates back to 1906–1907, when the former estate was converted into a golf course. Thorpe Hall has also built a strong sporting reputation, hosting events like the Sir Michael Bonallack Trophy and the Essex Seniors Team in 2025.
