The Highlander Golf Club opened in 2002, perched high above the Columbia River with expansive views adding character to each round. The course is laid out in Scottish links style, originally designed by golf architect John Steidel, with construction by Jim Haley, also involved with Bandon Dunes on the Oregon coast. Since opening, The Highlander has evolved into a challenging resort-style course rich in atmosphere, nature, and variety. Updates include added trees on the front nine, a striking water feature between holes 2 and 3, and extra water hazards around holes 4 and 5. With a shift to par 70 and new holes 17 and 18 on the back nine, the course offers a varied playing experience.
