About this course:

The Greenbrier: Old White is the resort’s first 18-hole golf course, designed by Charles Blair Macdonald and opened in 1914. It offers a classic golfing experience with tight, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens, while its routing reflects Macdonald’s admiration for celebrated European green styles such as the Redan, Alps, and Eden. Named after the Old White Hotel that once stood on the grounds, the course carries a strong sense of history and remains a defining part of The Greenbrier’s championship tradition. Old White has also drawn major tournament attention over the years, hosting PGA TOUR and LIV Golf events on one of the resort’s most iconic layouts.
