Strathfield Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course designed by Jim Wilcher (Golf by Design). The course plays as a Par 71 over approximately 5,900 meters and demands both length and precision. The Cooks River is a prominent feature of the layout: it winds through the middle of the course, is crossed six times, and comes into play on three additional holes. Bentgrass greens and bunkers, often around elevated greens, add extra challenge. The club has a history dating back to 1897 and underwent major redevelopment from 2016 with new greens, tee boxes, and improved putting and chipping practice facilities. The renovated clubhouse opened in 2018 and is situated among the fairways. Events include the Strathfield Bowl and the Strathfield Junior Classic.
