About this course:
Strathaven Golf Club is a classic 18-hole course in South Lanarkshire with a parkland feel, rolling fairways, and trees around the holes. Designed for golfers of all levels, it offers enjoyable play with a clear challenge. The USGA-standard greens enhance the course quality, which has been refined over time, including redesigns of the 7th and 9th holes. The club received a BIGGA award in January 2023 for this work. Founded in 1907, it expanded from nine to 18 holes in 1965. Strathaven has hosted multiple county and national tournaments, including the 2021 Scottish Girls’ Amateur Championship, Scottish Professional Golf Championships, and British Ladies Amateur Championship. Practice facilities include an indoor golf studio and a putting lab opened in 2023.
