Offerton Road, Offerton, Stockport SK2 5HL
Stockport Golf Club, founded in 1905, is a rural woodland course near Derbyshire-Cheshire border. The 18-hole layout, mainly by 1902 Open Champion Sandy Herd, is a tough championship test in Northern England. Gender-neutral tees allow players to choose length from Blue to White and Yellow Courses. The club offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a spacious traditional clubhouse. Historically, it hosted the 1929 Ryder Cup teams, and Charl Schwartzel was involved in a course record 64 in 2002.
