Southern Dutchess Country Club is a private 9-hole golf course near Beacon, beautifully located between the Beacon Hills and the Hudson River. The compact layout gives the course its own character, leading many players to choose a nine-hole round, both on weekdays and weekends. Thanks to the year-round club season, Southern Dutchess is also an attractive place to golf in the colder months. The club has a long history dating back to 1902 and combines that tradition with a relaxed country club atmosphere. Besides the golf course, the club offers facilities such as a clubhouse, locker room, club cleaning & storage, MGA membership and handicap services, a swimming pool, and a restaurant.
