Gundstrup 2, 6440 Augustenborg
Sønderborg Golfklub is on the Gunstrup course in varied, rolling terrain with few large elevation changes and views toward Miang Dam to the south. The 18-hole course was designed by Frederik Dreyer (1918-2005), following the existing terrain as much as possible, giving it a natural and harmonious character. Construction began in May 1998 and the course officially opened in summer 1999. Besides the main course, Sønderborg Golfklub has a 6-hole par-3 course, a driving range, and putting green, suitable for beginners and players refining their technique. Founded in 1980, the club quickly became a full golf destination.
