Skipton Golf Club is set in the Yorkshire Dales, featuring hills, valleys, and rolling views. The 18 holes wind along wide fairways, majestic trees, well-kept greens, and natural water hazards. The course demands smart choices and precise shots, with doglegs and well-protected par 3 greens making each round varied and challenging. The famous 'Amen Corner' fits this strategic character. The club has a rich history, originating from Craven Golf Club at Gargrave, moving to its current site in 1896, and expanding to 18 holes in 1980. In 2018, the course was redesigned with three new holes. After the round, the modern clubhouse offers a pleasant place to relax, with a restaurant, bar, and views of the 18th green.
