Red Bridge Lane, LA5 0SP Silverdale
Silverdale Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 70 course in the Arnside & Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, near Carnforth, between Lancaster and Kendal. The course's character is shaped by its landscape: older holes sit on a limestone ridge with excellent drainage, while the layout has two distinct parts, each with its own atmosphere and challenge. Established in 1906, Silverdale expanded from 9 to 12 holes, reaching the current 18-hole design in 2002. The older section features steep limestone outcrops and mature trees; the newer part offers rolling parkland. The greens are known for their high quality and can be very fast, requiring precise reading of line and pace.
