About this course:

Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club on Isle of Wight is an attractive 18-hole heathland course with a natural character. The course lies on gently rolling terrain among mature vegetation and combines short and long holes in a strategic layout that keeps every round interesting. The design shows the influence of James Braid and J.F. Abercromby and offers a challenging yet enjoyable test, with par 70 for men and par 72 for women. From the white tees, the course measures 5,984 yards. Thanks to good drainage, golf is possible here all year round. Founded in 1900, the club has hosted the Hampshire County Championships multiple times. After the round, the clubhouse offers catering and dining, with views from an elevated spot near the par-3 ninth hole.
