Sagamore Golf Course is an 18-hole par 70 course on the mainland overlooking Lake George. Designed and built in 1928 under Donald Ross's supervision, it features classic style with narrow hardwood-lined fairways requiring precision, deep bunkers, and undulating greens for tactical play. The natural setting with greenery, hills, and nearby water adds character. Stretching over 6,821 yards, the iconic downhill first hole and views of Lake George and the Adirondacks offer an immersive round. Restored in the 1980s, it includes a practice range, professional instruction, a Pro Shop, and a historic 1928-style clubhouse.
