About this course:
Royston Golf Club is located on Therfield Heath, on the border of Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire, and is an 18-hole golf course with a distinct chalk heathland character. Thanks to natural drainage, the course plays well year-round and has a links-like feel. The club is mentioned as early as 1624 in golf tradition, while the 18 holes were laid out in 1869 by Cambridge University students and revived in 1892. This makes Royston one of the oldest golf sites in England. The course is varied and challenging, featuring two long par 3s over 220 yards and several driveable par fours. No two holes are the same, keeping the round diverse. Afterwards, you can relax in the friendly clubhouse with a bar and a fully equipped pro shop.
