About this course:
Retford Golf Club, founded in 1920, offers an 18-hole course in beautiful rolling terrain. The course combines parkland holes, tree-lined fairways with oaks along the play direction, and nice elevation changes, making each round a varied challenge. Carefully placed bunkers and subtle borrows on many greens emphasize precision, with enough risk/reward moments to keep golfers of all levels sharp. The historic character is complemented by the modern clubhouse opened in 2001. According to club history, the first six holes were designed by Tom Williamson. With a mix of open spaces, sheltered corridors, and winter play options, Retford Golf Club offers a varied playing character attractive year-round.
