Is this suggested description update correct: Prospect Bay Country Club is an 18-hole golf course on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, near the Chesapeake Bay. The course is known for turtleback greens, narrow fairways, and a strong challenge from the back tees, with a length of over 6,800 yards. Thanks to multiple tee and combo tee options for men, women, and juniors, the course remains playable for a wide range of golfers. The finishing stretch from holes 15 through 18 is particularly impressive. The challenging par 5 on hole 18 calls for precision with a dogleg left, a narrow landing zone, and an (almost) island green surrounded by bunkers. Outside the course itself, Prospect Bay also has a rich golf history, with a club tradition of more than 30 years, the development of Prospect Bay Plantation West in 1978, the Maryland Open of 1991, and recurring tournaments such as the Towson Golf Men’s Invitational and the Division-1 Women’s Inter-Collegiate.?
