Pinetree Country Club is an 18-hole par 72 championship golf course designed by Chick Adams and opened in 1962. The 7,108-yard course winds through rolling hills, embraced by tall Georgia pines, native hardwoods, and tranquil water features. The parkland character combines with a strategic layout featuring risk-reward par 5s, beautiful par 3s, and challenging uphill approaches demanding precision and steady play. In 2007, under Bill Bergin's guidance, the course was renovated to preserve its timeless character and improve playability. The sharply undulating greens and smart tee-shot placement often make the difference, notably the signature par-3 where water and bunkers shape the play. Pinetree Country Club also boasts a rich tournament tradition, including the Georgia State Amateur Championship and the Georgia Open.
