About this course:

Phoenix Sports and Social Club is an 18-hole parkland golf course, established in 1932 and expanded in 1952. Designed by Tom Williamson and C K Cotton, it is known as a relaxed, 'easy walking' course with varied lengths and challenging landing areas appealing to golfers of all levels. The round often focuses on smart positioning. Doglegs, bunkers, and surprising elevation changes frequently appear, along with Out of Bounds and water hazards that keep every choice sharp. Some holes stand out as real tests, including the challenging par 4 on the 7th and the tricky short hole from the white tees on the 11th. The greens, including the famous MacKenzie green, require precise play. The club also hosts several Open Competitions throughout the year.
