About this course:
Ormskirk Golf Club is a historic 18-hole course on the Lancashire Golf Coast, designed by Harold Hilton. The course spans over 125 acres and plays as a parkland course with a tree-lined character, where heather and gorse still reflect its original heathland roots. Measuring 6,533 yards with a par of 70, it offers a varied round, with each nine holes presenting unique challenges and rewarding strategic play. Since 1899, Ormskirk Golf Club has become a trusted competition venue, hosting events such as the Lancashire Amateur, the 2016 PGA Championships, the 2019 Northern Counties Seniors’ Championship, and the 2024 Carris Trophy. The Edwardian clubhouse provides a fitting end to the day, with terrace views over the course.
