About this course:
Old Head Golf Links is a dramatic 18-hole links course on a 220-acre headland in County Cork, stretching more than two miles into the Atlantic Ocean. With nine holes played along cliff tops and ocean views throughout, it uses natural contours, caves beneath the course and shifting sea breezes to create a stern but fair test. The par 72 layout is designed for play from multiple tees and includes five par 5s, five par 3s and eight par 4s, ranging from 5,413 yards to more than 7,100 yards.
Facilities include a warm-up range, putting green and short-game practice area, while the oak-lined clubhouse features spa showers in the locker rooms. The entrance is framed by medieval walls and the de Courcey tower house, adding to the course’s strong sense of Irish history.
