Nickol Knoll Golf Course is a 9-hole course on 56 acres with varied elevation making it challenging. Three holes feature vertical drop tee shots and three have uphill shots to the green, each requiring a unique approach for a dynamic rhythm. Payton’s Hill at the 3rd tee honors Walter Payton, who trained there daily. The hill, once a landfill, was dedicated in 2000 by the Park District. Facilities include a clubhouse, snack bar, golf shop, and PGA trainers.
