High Street, New Galloway, Castle Douglas, DG7 3RN
New Galloway Golf Club is a charming 9-hole course in South West Scotland, set in the Galloway Hills. From the traditional clubhouse, the course climbs through woodland and opens to moorland with wide views of Loch Ken, the Galloway Hills, the Rhinns o’Kells, River Ken, and even the Solway Coast and Lake District in Cumbria. The greens and fairways have a natural character and are maintained by volunteers, giving the course an authentic feel. With a par of 68 for 18 holes, scratch 67, and a course record of 64, New Galloway offers a challenging yet accessible round. The 9 holes have no bunkers, while elevation changes and the Scottish landscape provide a distinctive playing experience. Founded in 1902, the club has a rural, welcoming atmosphere for visitors.
