About this course:
Nelson Golf Club is a classic 18-hole course designed by Dr. Alister MacKenzie, established in 1902. Known for its characterful and challenging layout, it features a hidden green in an old quarry on the opening hole, multiple blind shots, and clear elevation changes. Water, mounds, and long fairways alternate with out of bounds and trees on various sides, while MacKenzie's signature green slopes and protective bunkers demand precision in both approach and putting. With four par-3s, several par-4s and par-5s, Nelson Golf Club suits golfers who enjoy tactical play and course reading. The clubhouse offers a relaxed atmosphere with a lounge, dining room, and sports bar overlooking the golf course landscape.
