Stuart Island, Nambucca Heads NSW 2448, Australia
Nambucca Heads Island Golf Club is an 18-hole course on Stuart Island, surrounded by the Nambucca River. The par-69 layout, designed by Ross Watson, is strategic and offers a pleasant walk on relatively flat terrain. Fairways are lined with Sheoak and Paper Bark trees, and the bent grass greens have been carefully maintained for decades, playing a key role in the game. The club started as a 9-hole course on Stuart Island and expanded in 1992 to a full 18 holes. From the clubhouse, you overlook the river, a relaxing end to a round on a course deeply connected to its history and surroundings.
