About this course:
Minchinhampton Golf Club offers three distinct courses on Minchinhampton Common and in the Cotswolds. The Cherington Course features inland links character with large rolling greens, thick rough, and firm, fast fairways. The Avening Course is a mature parkland layout by Fred Hawtree, with lakes, specimen trees lining fairways, strategic bunkers, and challenging greens set against rolling vistas. The Old Course, played since 1889, lies on the rolling grassland of Minchinhampton Common, offering natural contours, panoramic views, and a playful yet demanding test without bunkers and occasionally a stray cow. The courses are known for their maintenance and excellent drainage and regularly host national and county events, including Open Championship Regional Qualifying.
