Doolittle Drive 10051, 94603 Oakland
Metropolitan Golf Links is an American links-style golf course designed by Johnny Miller and Fred Bliss, just east of Oakland International Airport. The 18 holes are compactly laid out in two balanced loops of nine, each round starting and ending at the clubhouse. The course combines straight holes with doglegs and some double doglegs, interspersed with subtle elevation changes and four wetlands areas. Open fairways, heather, and clusters of native grasses give the course a distinct links appearance, while the large greens with undulating putting surfaces require precise distance control.
