Merit Club Lane 1500, 60048 Libertyville
Merit Club is an 18-hole golf course by Bob Lohmann, set in natural landscape with trees, prairie grass, and wildlife. Known for being playful yet challenging, it features a spacious layout, four par 3s playing in different wind directions, and elevation changes over 100 feet, offering varied holes without constant forced carries. Training facilities include championship-level practice areas: a driving range with over an acre of tee space, a large bunker for long fairway bunker practice, and a nine-acre practice course with three holes. The club has USGA-spec greens and hosted the 2000 USGA Women’s Open and 2016 UL International Crown.
