Magnolia Point Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole golf course in Green Cove Springs, south of Jacksonville. The course is set in a vast, green environment with magnolias, old oaks, and tall pines that provide a beautiful backdrop for the final approach shots. The fairways do not run parallel, allowing you to play in peace through a panoramic landscape full of wildlife, including turkeys, deer, birds of prey, alligators, waterfowl, and turtles. Magnolia Point also features a driving range with partly synthetic tees, a spacious putting green with multiple pin positions, and a chipping area. The clubhouse houses the Pub at MP restaurant, offering seasonal dishes made from scratch. In August 2006, Magnolia Point was the final sectional qualifying location for the USGA U.S. Amateur, and the club hosts Men’s Golf Association and Ladies leagues.
