Ludlow Golf Club cover

About this course:

Ludlow Golf Club is a classic 18-hole James Braid design, created on its current site in 1927 and still retaining many of its original features. Set beneath Brown Clee Hill and framed by the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the course is often described as an inland links, built on a naturally free-draining sand and gravel base. Gently undulating, softly sprung fairways and fast, true greens combine to offer a fair but testing round for golfers of all abilities. Founded in 1889, Ludlow Golf Club has a long and distinctive history, beginning with nine holes on The Old Field. The course also weaves wildlife-rich character into the round, while the clubhouse provides a relaxed place to finish with views over the course and practice areas.
