Largs Golf Course of Largs Golf Club, founded in 1891, is set in beautiful landscape beneath Kelburn Castle grounds, overlooking the Firth of Clyde and the islands of Cumbrae, Bute, and Arran. The 18-hole parkland course features lush fairways, winding streams, and tree-lined avenues, with doglegs requiring smart course strategy. With well-maintained greens and a challenging yet fair playing style, the course appeals to golfers of various skill levels. Notable holes include a tough uphill par 3, a long well-protected par 3, and the famous “Amen Corner” around hole 9, featuring an approach over the burn to a slightly elevated, two-tiered green.
