Langston Golf Course is a historic 18-hole, par 72 course in eastern Washington, DC. Named after John Mercer Langston, it opened in 1939 replacing a nine-hole course and holds a special place in golf history. Since 2013, it is in the National Black Golf Hall of Fame. The course features rolling hills and large water hazards, with the Tidal Marsh and Anacostia River along the Back 9 adding character. Popular with all ages, it offers youth and family programs, a driving range with Toptracer screens, and Melva’s Kitchen clubhouse serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
