Lakewood National Golf Club is designed by Dick Wilson in classic Old Florida style, located on a peninsula surrounded by the Loxahatchee River, featuring fairways framed by rare banyans, palms, oaks, and pines. The natural landscape demands precise play with elevated greens, contoured fairways, and doglegs on many par 4s and 5s requiring thoughtful club selection and discipline. Situated on a natural white sand ridge, it offers excellent drainage, especially in the rainy season. In 2013, Tom Fazio II restored and renovated the course, focusing on natural elements and adding a short game practice facility.
