La Junquera is a 9-hole golf course at the foot of Bahía de Santander, on a southern peninsula near Pedreña. The course is on natural terrain and named after the former marsh vegetation with reeds. La Junquera is technical and selective, so mistakes can be costly. Especially holes 2, 3, and 4, with hole 6 as an extra challenge, require accurate irons and strong approach and green play.
