About this course:
Killarney Golf & Fishing Club’s Killeen Championship Course is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland layout set amid the lakeside scenery of Killarney National Park. Water comes into play on almost every hole, shaping a course of tight, wind-influenced par 3s, dog-legs, narrow greens and carefully placed bunkers. From the demanding opening hole, where Loch Leane guards the right side of the green, to the finish playing back toward the clubhouse with water down the left, Killeen asks for patience, precision and thoughtful shot-making throughout.
With a strong championship pedigree, including hosting the Irish Open on four occasions, the course offers a true test for improving golfers and low-handicap players alike. Its scenic setting and strategy-driven design make every round on Killeen feel distinctive.
