Kalona Golf Club is a semi-private golf course in southeast Iowa, just south of Kalona. The 9-hole course, designed by Edward Lockie, was established in its current layout in 1984 and offers a varied round with par 36/72. From the Blue tees, the course measures 5,978 yards with a slope rating of 124. The rolling terrain and tree-lined fairways provide natural elevation changes and varied lies. You play on Bent Grass greens and fairways of Blue Grass and Winter Rye, with two ponds as water hazards. Kalona Golf Club also has a club character dating back to 1928, reorganized in 1946 and reopened in 1984. Refreshments are available in the clubhouse.
