Juniper Hill Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal golf course in Frankfort, Kentucky, opened May 1, 1957. Since opening, it has become one of Kentucky's most popular golf destinations, serving golfers of all ages and levels. The Sweet Swingin' Seniors meet weekly here, and various non-profits use Juniper Hill for fundraising golf events. A calendar staple is the Annual Governor's Open, started in 1965, now a key Kentucky tournament. Notable players like Steve Flesch, Jodie Mudd, Russ Cochran, Fuzzy Zoeller, and Larry Gilbert have played here. PGA Golf Professional lessons and clinics are offered, and the Pro Shop is seasonally open.
