About this course:
Houldsworth Golf Course of Houldsworth Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course near Stockport and Manchester. Known as a test of golf skill rather than fitness, it offers challenging holes for all levels. Water features prominently, especially around Amen Corner, including the 13th hole, 'Island', a 535-yard par 5 with a water-surrounded green, and the 14th hole, 'Lake', a 162-yard par 3 requiring a water carry to a narrow green. Founded in 1910, the course was redesigned by Dave Thomas in 1993. The clubhouse offers catering and views over the course and Manchester skyline.
