Honolulu Country Club is a private golf course in central Honolulu, founded in 1977. The Arnold Palmer Championship course, co-designed with Francis Duane, lies in flat terrain between Moanalua Valley and the ocean, offering gentle breezes and nearly year-round pleasant playing conditions. The classic design demands precision: a curving ball often ends up in the water, and the course is clearly intended for walking play. Besides the course, the spacious two-story clubhouse enhances the close-knit club atmosphere, featuring rare Hawaiian koa and teak wood, dining options, and sports facilities. Training and development are central with PGA professionals, member clinics, junior programs, and since 2014, the PGA Jr League competition.
