The course balances challenge and accessibility for enjoyable play. Established in 1925 by George H. Otten with clubhouse plans by J.E. Tourtellotte, the final 18-hole design came after adding nine holes. Since 1990, it hosts the Albertsons Boise Open, featuring a course record of 59 in past events.
