Heron Lakes CC is a semi-private 18-hole championship golf course in Mobile, Alabama, designed in 1954 by Harold Stallings. In 2000, four challenging holes were added by Earl Stone, surrounded by six lakes. At 6808 yards, the course demands tee accuracy, with Champion Bermuda greens testing every approach and putt. Five tee sets allow golfers to tailor their round, especially challenging for low-handicap players. Practice facilities include a 300+ yard driving range, bunkers, and a large two-tiered putting and chipping green. PGA-certified pros offer lessons and clinics. Events include the 4th of July Firecracker Invitational, November Night Light Scramble, Winter Invitational, and various club and invitational tournaments.
