Hermitage Golf Course in Nashville offers two 18-hole championship courses in a natural setting. The President’s Reserve, designed by Denis Griffiths, winds through 300 acres of Tennessee wetlands along the Cumberland River. At about 7200 yards, it demands strategy and pace but remains enjoyable. The course is part of a resort with lodges and cottages overlooking the course, a private putting green, practice facilities, and a Teaching Center for all levels, including juniors. Scottish Blackfaced sheep add character.
