Harwich & Dovercourt Golf Club, founded in 1906, is a friendly club with an attractive 9-hole course in Parkeston, near Harwich in Essex. The course offers a varied mix of lengths and hazards, making it often surprisingly challenging despite its short distance. This makes it enjoyable for golfers of all levels: playable but with enough emphasis on placement and pace to keep you sharp. After your round, the clubhouse and bar and catering facilities provide a relaxed atmosphere. From the sunny terrace, you can overlook the 9th/18th hole.
