Gullane Golf Club (No.1) is a classic links course that rises from the edge of the village to the crest of Gullane Hill, opening up sweeping views across East Lothian, Edinburgh, Fife and beyond. Its bold routing brings major elevation changes and asks for careful, thoughtful play, with fast sloping greens that reward approaches kept below the flag. From the 3rd tee to the highest point at the 7th, the scenery is as memorable as the golf, while the downhill par-3 9th, the beachside views on the 12th and the slope-set 13th add to the challenge and character. With 18 holes and more than 40 championships to its name, Gullane No.1 has also hosted professional tour events, Open qualifying, and national and international amateur championships.
