Grande Dunes Resort Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by Roger Rulewich Group, located on a high bluff along the Intracoastal Waterway near Myrtle Beach. The course features a links-style character with Bermuda grass fairways, subtle undulations, and large, modest greens with new Champion Bermuda. Wide fairways provide space, but smart placements and longer distances also challenge better players, while higher handicap golfers can adapt their game well here. After renovations of greens, bunkers, and clubhouse in 2022 led by architect John A. Harvey, the course received TifEagle ultradwarf bermudagreens and restored bunker shapes. The views over water, marina, and resort, along with the clubhouse with a full golf shop, enhance the experience. Grande Dunes Resort Course also holds a place in tournament history as the site of major regional events like the World Am, the Myrtle Beach World Amateur Handicap Championship.
