Goodwin Park Golf Course is a municipal golf course in Hartford with two loops: the 18-hole South Course and the 9-hole North Course. The South Course is an 18-hole championship course with par 70 requiring precise ball control. Water, bunkers, rolling fairways, and greens with clear elevation changes make the course challenging and add weight to smart choices. The North Course, also called the “Flat Nine,” is designed as a practice and learning course with eight par 4s and a short par 3. It lacks water hazards and bunkers, but narrow fairways and wedge play around the hole keep focus sharp. Goodwin Park Golf Course also offers a full-length driving range and lessons and programs, including First Tee – Connecticut.
