About this course:
Golfclub Wouwse Plantage is a picturesque 18-hole course set in a quiet, wooded area between Bergen op Zoom and Roosendaal, on the edge of the Wouwse Plantage estate. It combines gently rolling forest holes with a sandy dune landscape, while the parkland side brings in a stream and water features. The varied layout asks for precision, straight controlled shots and good distance.
Originally designed by Frank Pennink and later renovated in 2018–2019 through a master plan by Bruno Steensels, the course routing was improved and the forest and park holes were separated via the Plantage and Bleekloop routes. A welcoming clubhouse, restaurant with a spacious terrace overlooking the course, and practice facilities including an indoor practice green, six practice holes and a driving range complete the experience.
